About Stern Empire

Founded in 1910 to provide denture services to the sparse but growing dental profession in the Houston area, Stern Empire has grown steadily to become a leading national laboratory serving dentists in all 50 states. Although the vulcanite dentures we produced back in the early 1900’s are long gone, the same dedication to helping dentists achieve success has endured.

Today we offer a wide range of dental laboratory products, all manufactured with FDA approved and ADA accepted materials. Dentists can count on Stern Empire for the latest in monolithic ceramic restorations, complex dental implant prosthetics, functional orthodontic appliances, and much more.

Dentists working with Stern Empire rely on a team of certified technicians, and our in-house dentist consultant, Dr. Keith Coburn, for material recommendations, case planning, and quality restorations delivered on-time.

We are currently accepting new clients.

Experience and Expertise

We are a National Dentex Laboratory (NDX).

As a member of the largest dental laboratory group in the United States, we have access to resources that very few laboratories can match. Our own Research and Development department works directly with dental manufacturing companies across the globe to bring you world class materials, and to assure material safety and compliance regulations are met. A developmental training program for all technicians provides product consistency and creates a career path that leads new dental technicians to attain CDT (Certified Dental Technician) status. More recently our technology group has been assisting dentists who want to integrate their own digital impressioning system into laboratory workflow.
